Tourism Club

Tourism Club Kerala is the nodal agency formed by the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, to nurture and develop young ambassadors of Kerala Tourism by forming clubs in colleges across the state. As per the recommendation of the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, a tourism club was formed in our institution in the year 2025. The aim of this club is to promote native tourism destinations of Morazha. The club is named as ‘Travel Beyond Tourism Club’.

Objectives of a Tourism Club :

  • Vision: To inspire students to become proactive promoters of Kerala’s tourism and cultural heritage.
  • Tourism Trends: Pave the way for new tourism trends and innovations in the travel sector.
  • Student Engagement: Create interest in travel and tourism among students.

Activities and Initiatives:

  • Focus Area: The Tourism Club primarily focuses on promoting and developing tourism through active participation of the student community. It encourages students to explore, appreciate, and promote the cultural and natural heritage of Kerala.
  • Aim: "Capacity Building Through Responsible Service" – empowering students to contribute towards sustainable tourism by fostering leadership, responsibility, and environmental awareness.
  • Activities: The club organizes field visits, heritage walks, tourism awareness campaigns, and interactive sessions with tourism professionals to provide hands-on exposure and real-world learning experiences.
  • Community Involvement: Students actively participate in local tourism initiatives, supporting eco-friendly travel and promoting lesser-known destinations in and around Morazha.
