Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality enhancement across academic and administrative domains. Its primary objective is to establish a structured and consistent mechanism for advancing institutional performance and promoting best practices. The IQAC formulates quality benchmarks for diverse academic and administrative activities, ensuring the effective implementation of these standards. It also strives to create a learner-centered environment that supports excellence in education through the integration of relevant knowledge and technology, encouraging a participatory approach to teaching and learning. Moreover, the Cell systematically collects and analyzes feedback from students, parents, and other stakeholders to refine institutional processes and uphold quality standards.
Objectives of the IQAC :
- Quality Enhancement: To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution.
- Academic Excellence: To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
- Monitoring: To monitor and evaluate academic, administrative, and co-curricular activities for continuous improvement.
- Documentation: To ensure systematic documentation of quality-related activities and prepare reports for accreditation and assessment purposes.
- Stakeholder Participation: To encourage participation of all stakeholders in the quality improvement process.
Activities and Initiatives:
- Quality Audits: Conducting internal quality audits and preparing annual quality assurance reports (AQAR).
- Workshops and Seminars: Organizing workshops, seminars, and training programs on quality assurance and academic excellence.
- Feedback System: Collecting and analyzing feedback from students, faculty, and stakeholders to improve institutional practices.
- Best Practices: Promoting and documenting best practices across academic and administrative units.
- Accreditation Support: Coordinating and preparing documents for NAAC accreditation and other quality initiatives.
- Collaborations: Encouraging collaborations with other institutions and organizations for academic growth and quality enhancement.
